You could ask the same question about Redhat, Inc and its highly successful Redhat Linux operating system. But then that would morph into a discussion about the business model of open source software companies.

Typically when software is free, a company makes money through selling support, customizations, and consulting. That's certainly true of Redhat. I believe OrangeHRM has a SaaS cloud offering they charge for. Or perhaps they have an advanced offering they charge for. I don't know much about it which is why I'm asking.

Anyone here used OrangeHRM? If so, what do you like about it? What do you dislike about it?

Haven't used OrangeHRM and also looking at various HRIS systems that are web-based or installed as software and maintained by my company. Peferrably it would be web-based program. We are a small company and are trying to keep costs down.

We are also a Microsoft Gold Certified Partner and get to use microsoft programs at no charge so we have also been looking at Microsoft Dynamics GP. Anyone used that?
