Hi.
I started thinking about organizing regular and formal(?) processes for assessment my teams (I have ~20 remote team members) - to help employees set professional goals, help them achieve goals, control achievements, reward, ensure everybody is happy with how their work is aligned with their personal goals, and ensure that climate in the teams is good.
My goals: decrease/control turnover and improve hapiness (and as result performance).
Our company don't have such processes implemented, so I want to implement them only for my teams.

Can somebody point me to the BEST BOOK in this field to start my study from.

I am also very interesting in any free/cheap SERVICES that could help me: assessment, 360-degree feedback, tracking plans/achievements, etc. I would appreciate if you can suggest something.
