Hi Folks... I would really like to bring in a training to educate managers on how to hold conversations with employees when the topic(s) may not be easy for them... such as, "here's why you're not being promoted.", "this is why you're receiving the salary increase," etc... I am aware of Crucial Conversations (though have not attended it myself).

Two things:

1.  I'd love to hear about peoples' experiences with that specific program (Crucial Conversations) both personally, as well as how your organization liked/benefitted from it?

2.  Are there other programs that people have found to be greatly valuable that address this subject?

tnx,
 Bd

Hi BD,

Thanks for your interest in learning more about others’ experiences with Crucial Conversations. I work for VitalSmarts, home of the award-winning Crucial Conversations Training, and thought a couple of case studies with the experience and results our clients have had with Crucial Conversations might be helpful.

Sprint Nextel: http://www.vitalsmarts.com/casestudies/sprint/
MaineGeneral Health: http://www.vitalsmarts.com/casestudies/mainegeneral-health/
All case studies: http://www.vitalsmarts.com/case-studies/professional-case-studies/

Please let me know if you’re interested in speaking with one of our clients in a similar industry, and I would be happy to connect you.

Thanks,

Laura Potter
