Hi Trudy:
My firm People Notion, http://www.peoplenotion.com specializes in Leadership Development programs. I promise this is not a sales pitch. If you would like to give me a call (888.799.4369) and tell me a little more about the reasons why you are trying to start a LD program, I would be able to give you some strong advice. Many upper management teams tend to initially be on the defensive, because you are more or less saying that they could be much stronger. The key is to turn that rationale into a positive play on the organization AND on their own career development. You'll need true justification as well in terms of financial, productivity, time, and service figures. This isn't as hard to do as you may initially think. As I said, if you would like to give me a call, I'd be more than happy to speak with you. Kind regards, Michael Blackstone 888.799.4369 |

Hi Trudy,
There are several good articles on leadership in the archives at http://www.expertmagazine.com, offering different perspectives on the subject. Maybe some of the information will be useful to you. Best regards, Janet Delph |

Leasdership development is a topic that can be quoted or reviewed in retrospect but I believe that the most difficult skill that new leaders have to understand is "how to understand". I don't have any better way to describe it than to pass you on to a website of a personal leader from my past. Check it out. www.grassrootsleadership.com Mike discussed leadership and it applies to every organization across the board. |
