A good rule of thumb is about 15 hours of development time to every 1 hour of instruction. of course this is in the ideal world, but you do need to give yourself as much of a cushion as possible. There are steps that you can cut out of your planning time if you are pressed for time, but there are 2 critical steps that you must make time for. make time to proofread all your delivery materials. The other critical step is to have a dry run to test pacing, quality of interaction, and use of instructional materials. |
