Manager Interview Training
A forum for exchanging ideas about skills training, leadership training, management training, compliance training, e-learning, as well as organizational development and effectiveness.
I'm looking to develop a interview training for managers. Do anyone have any info to share? We don't have a training budget so I will be developing this on my own.
Thanks

When I train managers on how to interview the first thing I cover are questions that are legal vs illegal to ask and provide them with a list. I also provide them with behavioral questions that they can ask a candidate and make sure they know to keep it consistent. Also make sure they do not write anything inappropriate in their interiew notes, such as age, male/female etc.

Daily Q&A
How to Address Flagging Motivation?
How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
