Hi

I am looking for some activities on customer service/orientation for the following job roles:

1. Onsite employees (who deal with customers face-to-face daily to negotiate, get requirements for projects etc)
2. Technical helpdesk
3. Offshore employees (who have generally email and telephone communication with customers for project updates, query resolution etc)

Thanks

Srovona

You might want to try role plays- First do a "Bad" customer service role paly- then flip it around and do a good.
I often find that as a warm-up it works well to ask everyon about their worst customer service experience. There are some great stories out there.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
