Wish to make my employee training modules interactive and more functional. I've created PowerPoint-based training modules/slides and placed knowledge assessment questions throughout. But I've been unable to make them "intelligent" (that is, given a specific response to multiple choice or true-or-false questions, automatically direct the trainee to proceed if the response was correct, or if the response is incorrect automatically re-direct the trainee to the beginning of the PowerPoint section on that topic for review and ultimately re-test. My research in PowerPoint material hasn't been successful. Can anyone help/thank you. (jmgstlouis@hotmail.com)

There are several programs that make this possible by converting existing PPT files to Flash. You could look into Adobe Presenter, PointeCast Publisher Pro, or Articulate just to name a couple. Costs vary depeding on your needs and organization size.

Adobe's Captivate will let you import existing PowerPoint slides, and has the capability of adding quizes, several different styles of questions, T/F, Mult Choice, Matching, etc.
Also has the ability to be SQRM compliant if you track success in your LMS.

a web site WorkExcel.com creates web courses for companies that are platform independent so you don't have to "pay fees" for every user. You own the thing.
