We have been providing Continuing Education for over 25 years and mostly provided the training in live events.

We recently got into the online world due to the market and competition but we have struggled to find any traction with online learning.

Can anyone help me out and just let me know if you are still a customer that prefers live training(seminars, live webinars, etc..) or more of the online 24/7 type learning.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

My humble opinion? I think that ultimately, the best practice trends will be to offer "all of the above" matching appropriate delivery formats that best meet objectives. I also believe that mixed media programs will become more popular.

One thing for sure is that learners will expect employers to provide flexible learning formats because they are becoming the norm at universities.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
