I am looking for some Management Training options for a 1st time manager. Any recommendations? At this point we are open to virtual/on-line training, but prefer a 1 - 3 day seminar. Ideally something

Thanks!

What type of training are you looking for, an open enrollment course for a few of your new managers or possibly an on-site course for a group of your new managers?

Thanks for the follow-up. We were able to find something that was great; however, I'd be interested in any on-site options for a group of new managers. Could be helpful down the road.

Thanks!

Hi,

For future reference, you can check out this on-site course - "Managing to Lead: A Manager's Guide to Success" - http://jbtrainingsolutions.com/trainpages/workshopentry/managing-to-lead-a-managers-guide-to-success/

Just a reminder to our friends in the service provider industry. The purpose of this forum is for HR professionals, not the service providers, to make the recommendations based on their own experience with the tools.

Self platitudes are not only of no value but will turn off potential customers.........

Your cooperation is appreciated.

Hi HRStu... I'd be interested to hear what you found.

I found this via the American Management Association that I am investigating for one of our new managers. I haven't attended one from AMA, but hear they are pretty good.

We're small so don't have the budget or scale to bring something in-house, so hoping you found something that is great for a one-off situation.

Thanks
Bd

We ended up using Management Concepts and thus far the feedback has been great. I'm happy to talk more about it directly if you provide me with some contact info.

Enjoy the weekend!
