Drucker, P. F. The Effective Executive; McGraw-Hill.
Senge, P. M. (1990) The Fifth Discipline; Doubleday.
Becker, B.E., Huselid, M.A., and Ulrich, D. (2001) The HR Scorecard.
Zingham, P. K. and Schuster, J.R. (2000)Pay People Right! : Breakthrough Reward Strategies to Create Great Companies ;Jossey-Bass.
These are good role of management, systems thinking, HR strategy, and compensation texts. Good luck in your studies.
