Does your company have a policy on using the company credit card for personal purposes?
If so, will you share it?

You may not get much of a response on this one, because the vast majority of companies don't like their employees using their company credit cards for personal purchases. Their policies usually have only one sentence on this, something on the lines of "employees will not use theifr company credit cards for personal purchases" or similar.

I work for a very large corporation that has written policies concerning just about every type of conceivable situation. The use of corporate credit cards for personal use is strictly forbidden. Period. Even if you pay the balance when due. There have been quite a few terminations over the years when employees have been caught using the corporate credit card for personal use.

I thought that unless the corporate credit card is actually secured by the company for employee use (meaning the employer is held liable for non-payment, instead of the employee) employers cannot restrict the corporate card's use by the employee?
