A great way to make the change may be to start doing it in your company first. Look for opportunities on how you can add value to your own HR function. Think about areas of expertise that you have and those that you can now use in some aspect of HR work.
The best way to do this would be to have an open and exploratory conversation with the head of your HR department. Tell them what you are thinking and ask for ways you can explore potential opportunities. Another way could be through special projects or small assignments where you are working in the HR area for 1 day/week. Consider doing some research also before you start. You will find more useful tips on the link below. Good luck! Cheers! Anoop http://www.career-change-mentor.com/career-research.html |
