Organizational Development Degree for Career Advancement
Discuss your job search, the interviewing process, creating the right resume, how the HR profession's changes require new job-search approaches and related topics.
I would like a little assistance.
My main career goal is to become a consultant especially in the area of change management. I feel that to assist in that goal I will need to get a Masters degree.

I found this on the SIOP web site, it lists the schools that offer distance graduate degerees learning in Industrial/organizational psychology (not exactly the same as OD, but it may be a starting place).
http://www.siop.org/gtp/GtpLookup.asp If you already have a master's you could consider an executive education program at one of the "top" business schools - expensive but they might fit with you distance learning needs. If you don't already have a master's think about getting one at a local university. It doesn't have to be OD, it could be a related degree. Or wait a few years and see if a better program comes along or maybe perceptions about on-line degrees will change. |
