Penn State is starting a new program that is an on-line program for a Masters in Employee Relations and HR. It is going to be starting in Spring of 2008.

Try a website called degreeinfo.com They have a ton of info on legitimately accredited online degree programs.

Colorado State has an online MBA program but I don't know if there's an HR concentration. Baker College (Flint MI) has an MBA with HR concentration, but it's accredited by the IACBS rather than the AACBS.

As you are looking for online MBA degree, here's a good list of top online accredited universities that offer MBA degrees
http://www.distance-learning-college-guide.com/online-mba-programs.html
Feel free to request information from two or more of those colleges to compare who has the best offering that suits your needs. I hope it will help you.

It may be brick and mortar, but although Phoenix is accredited for undergraduate degrees and several graduate degrees, the MBA program isn't one of them.

I think the original poster's thoughts about a more traditional university for the MBA were on target.

I got one and it is doing no good. I lost my job over it and now I can not find a job. Education is number one on my list of things to do? Ecom 101 - displayed workers only need to re-education themselves to stay employed. Ya, Bla, bla, bla.

I find it hard to believe that you lost a job over a degree, unless you were claiming a degree from a unaccredited diploma mill.

Smithson43, if your attitude at work is anything like your attitude here, then that's probably why you lost your job - not over the quality of your degree.

Daily Q&A

How to Address Flagging Motivation?

How do I increase motivation levels in the department? How do I brand my business unit as an attractive place to work? I have top-notch IT professionals in my business unit who feel they are "children of a lesser God" because they are non-billable resources and do not get plum postings abroad, nor the glamour that goes with them. As a result, their motivation suffers.
