queries regarding SAP HR

I have some queries regarding SAP HR. I don't know if a person with absolutely no technical background/knowledge would be able to learn SAP HR? Also, what are the modules under SAP HR that are in demand right now and how will I know which is suitable for me? Would an online course on SAP HR be useful and which are the good institutes who provide the course? I have also heard that it is not necessary to take up the certification for completing the course. It helps even if you are aware of the HR modules. Is that true and would it help me fetch a job??? I have also read on several other posts that an HR assistant job gives maximum exposure and you can learn a lot in the HR industry, but how do I get that job. All the recruiters say that I am over qualified for HR assistant job. I am MBA in HR. So would it help if I delete my degree or 3 years of work exp from my resume. Please help me. Thanks.
