I work for a start up company that has been in existence for a couple of years. We are currently 80 employees large and being acquired by another company. What is typical for employees that are not absorbed by the aquiring company in terms of benefits (does the current health plan become null and void and therefore COBRA is not available), reasonable severance packages, etc. And, how do you "incent" a handful of employees to stay through the transition process? Thanks! Please respond to KimMaute@yahoo.com
