Pining for Co-Worker Brings Attempted Murder Charge


Astronaut grounded as authorities allege bizarre plot.

By now you’ve probably heard all the details of 43-year-old NASA astronaut Lisa Marie Nowak in what is probably one of the most bizarre cases of workplace romanceHouston to Orlando, Florida, donned a wig and trench coat, and used pepper spray and a BB gun to threaten a woman she believed was vying for the affections of another astronaut. Nowak is alleged to have driven from Houston “wearing diapers in the car so she wouldn't have to stop to go to the bathroom,” according to the Houston Chronicle. Nowak is facing charges of attempted murder, attempted kidnapping and battery.
