U.K. Consulting Firm: HR Should Use Blogs for Training

Blogs and Training: An HR consulting firm in Britain is evangelizing the use of corporate Web logs, known as blogs, as a training tool. The company, Righttrack, says blogs are a “vital communication and learning resource ready to be exploited” and that organizations using blogs come across as “more human, with a sense of personality, passion and realism.” Blogs also are touted as being “ideal in training and HR” because they enable people to interact and “share their learning experiences.” However, despite these perceived advantages, Righttrack notes that very few HR organizations are adopting internal blogs to use specifically for training.
