Workers Ready to Quit: One in three employees are disgruntled and are
contemplating quitting their jobs, according to a study by Discovery Surveys in
Sharon, Massachusetts. The top four reasons for disenchantment include:
management’s failure to listen to employee input/act on suggestions, low pay (60
percent of workers believe they are underpaid), lousy internal communications
and failure to recognize and reward top performance.
