Keeping the Newly Trained: Employers continue to be worried about their ability to hang on to newly hired employees. A survey by Maitland, Florida-based TalentKeepers found that 45 percent expect turnover to increase in 2007. Only 3 percent of the nearly 550 major U.S. employers surveyed expect turnover to decrease. More than half (52 percent) expect their turnover levels to remain about the same as 2006. Lost productivity and drops in service quality are most affected by the employee churn.
