Firms Fed Up With Shoddy HR Services


Roughly 20 percent plan to revamp HR structures in the coming year, with efficiency and improved communication cited as key goals.

Changes Afoot for HR: A transition in the way companies provide retirement and health benefits is prompting many companies to “reconsider the way they deliver human resources services,” by engaging employees and making administration more efficient through technology, according to Watson Wyatt Worldwide. One in five companies surveyed say they plan to revamp HR delivery  in the coming year. HR portals and ERP systems are cited as the most popular technologies for benefits communication and delivery, respectively. Also, although companies list internal process improvement as a top priority, 31 percent believe they are failing to achieve that goal.
