Jobster, Facebook Strengthen Bonds

The online companies team up to make it easier for job seekers and hiring managers to connect.
By Garry Kranz

Facebook to Get New Career Tool From Jobster: Hiring managers have been scrolling Facebook.com for months trying to uncover talent. Under a new arrangement, Jobster is building its career networking and job search tool on the Facebook platform. That enables Facebook users to more directly connect with companies in which they are most interested. The applicant’s information is passed along to hiring managers that use Jobster’s sourcing tools. It’s not the first time Jobster and Facebook have hooked up. The companies in February announced a deal in which Jobster became exclusive host of Facebook’s career center.
