Staffing Company Officers Nabbed in Immigration Sting
The two, who worked for Ideal Staffing Solutions Inc., are accused of giving illegal workers bypass security at O'Hare Airport.

Staffing Firm Rousted: Illinois staffing company have been charged with felonies
for allegedly harboring illegal immigrants for financial gain and
misusing Social Security numbers, according to television station WLS-TV in
Chicago. The
arrests stem from an eight-month-long investigation at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport.
Mary Gurin, 36, a corporate secretary of Ideal Staffing Solutions Inc., and
Norinye Benitez, 24, an office manager, this week were arrested for allegedly
providing undocumented workers with deactivated airport security badges that
were listed in other names. The fraudulent badges allowed workers to bypass a
security-screening system used by the airport. Also arrested were 23 other
people from Mexico and
Guatemala, many of whom are
in the U.S. illegally and who could be
deported, according to statements attributed to federal officials. The illegal
workers all were employed by Ideal Staffing and were contracted to work for
airlines, including United Airlines, KLM and Qantas.
