Recruits for the Recruiter: Monster plans to launch a new customer service
support facility in Florence, South Carolina, in September, the online
recruitment company said in a statement. The move is in conjunction with
Monster’s corporate decision to bring its North American customer support
in-house, according to officials with Maynard, Massachusetts-based Monster. The
company selected Florence, which is near the resort city of Myrtle Beach, citing
its “rapidly developing labor market” of people with necessary skills. The new
facility initially will house about 350 employees, most in customer service
jobs, and accommodate future expansion.
