| For
its inaugural conference, Workforce Management has selected
a theme that touches every organization: how to find talented
employees, how to retain them and how to use their unique abilities
to build a successful business.
The
Workforce Management Conference: Talent Management
featuring the 17th annual Optimas Awards will bring
together some of the most thoughtful and innovative workforce
thinkers in America today. In one day, you'll get not only
the wisdom and insight of noted workforce management experts
and authors Dave Ulrich and Beverly Kaye, but also the real-world
perspectives of two leading human resources practitioners,
Dennis Donovan, former Executive Vice President, Human Resources
of The Home Depot and Ken Carrig, Executive Vice President
and Chief Administrative Officer of Sysco Corporation. All
four know what challenges you are up against, and have the
ideas and techniques you can put in place tomorrow to make
talent flourish in your organization.
In addition,
the Workforce Management Conference will feature the
17th annual Optimas Awards, which Workforce Management
gives each year to recognize forward-looking workforce initiatives
that drive better bottom line business results for the organization.
The Optimas
Awards are given in ten different strategic initiative
categories including: Managing Change, Global Outlook, Competitive
Advantage, Vision, and Ethical Practice. Past award recipients
include: Wells Fargo, Lockheed Martin Corp., United Parcel
Service, Wachovia Corp., Google and Acxiom Corporation.
