Globoforce announced that former Great Place to Work Institute CEO China Gorman is joining the company as a consultant and chair of its WorkHuman advisory board.
The employee rewards and recognition provider made the announcement June 11 at the WorkHuman 2015 Conference in Orlando, Florida.
Gorman, an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience in the HR consulting world, will lead a board composed of HR leaders and influencers to help drive the vision of the WorkHuman annual event, Globoforce said in a press statement. Before accepting the role, Gorman was CEO at the Great Place to Work Institute, a global consultancy firm focused on helping companies create better workplaces. She also served as chief operating officer and interim CEO at the Society for Human Resource Management, and had tenures as president at career transition consultancies Lee Hecht Harrison and DBM North America.
Eric Mosley, CEO of Globoforce, said in a statement that he was “thrilled” to have Gorman joining the team.
“China is one of the premier voices in HR with a proven track record in elevating the importance of a great workplace,” Mosley said. “We look forward to partnering with her to build more WorkHuman cultures around the world.”
