  1. It would be interesting to know how current HR salaries stack up against HR’s organizational peers. I suspect that we would learn that HR, by and large, still does not have a “seat at the table” when it comes to how much the organization value’s HR’s work compared to its organizational “equals.” A side result might also be that such a comparison might expose the “equality of compensation” craze for the folly it ultimately is.
