The firm’s human resources team created an enterprisewide initiative to improve its performance management process, turning a “check the box” performance management culture into something modern and consistent.
The result was a new structure with procedures designed to create a scalable system, including an annual performance management process. This helped Suffolk build a competency model that allows it to grow and set SMART (specific, measureable, achievable, relevant and time-bound) goals to ensure every employee has clear expectations.
