In the event of a disaster, it can pay to be prepared. This is the case if your organization has five employees or 5,000. The Wellness Council of America aims to help employers help their employees be prepared with "Are You Ready? Health Promotion Takes On Emergency Preparedness." The information in the report is divided into categories such as "Be Informed," "Emergency Planning for Employees," "Emergency Supplies" and "Deciding to Stay or Go," which all may help whether an earthquake, a hurricane or other disaster strikes your workplace.
