After graduating magna cum laude from Harvard University in health care policy, Housman, now 33, earned a doctorate in health care management and economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. His coursework included microeconomics, medical ethics, statistics and medical sociology.

After an early career filled with data analytics and statistical algorithms, Housman was hired at Evolv, a San Francisco-based firm known for predicitive analytics tools, where he uses his academic foundation to build sophisticated, economic data models related to the workforce.

“I have the utmost confidence that Dr. Michael Housman will change how businesses manage their human capital,” wrote Peter Cappelli, a management professor at the Wharton School.
