As director of human resources at Turner Sports/Bleacher Report, Tushar Trivedi has helped globalize the budding sports media website.
In just 18 months, Trivedi led the cultural integration that came when Turner Broadcasting System and Time Warner Cable Inc. acquired the Web property. He helped the Bleacher Report division jump from 100 to 300 employees in one year, turning the website from a mostly domestic entity to a global brand.
Trivedi, 32, also redefined Turner Broadcasting’s compensation philosophy in Silicon Valley, reducing turnover by nearly 30 percent. Additionally, Trivedi was central to building engagement and morale by bringing in athletes and media personalities — Charles Barkley and Barry Bonds among them — to talk with Bleacher Report staff.
Before coming to Bleacher Report, Trivedi worked at Google Inc. as a sales and business development manager in San Francisco.
