During his time as director of recruiting at SuccessFactors, he molded the company’s social media presence through building a following on Facebook and Twitter and became a leader in the new media marketing strategy industry.
Changing the company’s global-recruitment process, Staney, 29, transformed the company’s strategic sourcing strategy, social recruiting efforts, recruitment marketing tactics, Web strategy and employer branding initiative. He remains an influential voice in the human resources recruiting space because of his innovative online strategies and regularly speaks about new-media strategies at national conferences and seminars.
Before joining SuccessFactors, Staney was a talent acquisition Web strategy manager at VMware Inc., where he trained the company’s global staffing team and implemented social media and sourcing strategies throughout the organization. With his bachelor of arts in mass communications from Texas State University at San Marcos, he continues to develop SuccessFactors’s online presence and social media interaction.
