Matthew Painter’s extensive background in higher education and his passion for learning make him an innovative director of leadership development.

In just six months, Painter, 35, built the Berkshire Health Systems Institute for Organizational Learning from the ground up, spurring collaboration among the company’s top executives and the human resources department while creating the company’s leadership and management development program from scratch.

Painter’s experience as a teacher of leadership development spans four universities, including the Jiangsu University of Science and Technology in Jiangsu, China. In addition, he continues to practice what he preaches as he studies for his Ph.D. in business administration with a concentration in organizational psychology from Northcentral University.
