Lawrence Lorber to Seyfarth Shaw, Karen Magee to Time Warner, Luxottica promotes Lukas Ruecker

LAWRENCE LORBERSeyfarth Shaw announced that Lawrence Lorber has joined the law firm in its Washington, D.C., office. Lorber counsels and represents employers regarding issues such as equal employment opportunity, affirmative action and HR policies. Lorber, who previously headed Proskauer Rose’s employment law practice in Washington, also was deputy assistant secretary of labor.

 

 


Karen Magee
Karen MageeTime Warner Inc. announced that Karen Magee has been named executive vice president and chief human resources officer. She will be responsible for the company’s HR strategy including global compensation and benefits, leadership development and diversity. Magee was previously the CEO of PlanetOut Inc., a publicly traded media and entertainment company. She joined Time Warner in 2010.

 

 


Lukas Ruecker
LUKAS RUECKERLuxottica Group named Lukas Ruecker as president of its vision benefits company EyeMed Vision Care. Ruecker, who joined Luxottica in 2009, previously was with Staples Inc. and McKinsey & Co. Ruecker succeeds Liz DiGiandomenico, who will take on a new role with Luxottica.
