People moving into key executive positions

Lorie Valle-Yanez has been named vice president of diversity and inclusion at MassMutual. She previously served as senior director of diversity, work/life and employee services at ESPN. Before joining ESPN, she was group leader of the diversity programs office at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Margaret (Meg) Newman has been named senior vice president of human resources at HD Supply. She previously served as vice president of human resources. Prior to joining HD Supply, Newman held senior HR leadership roles at Conseco Insurance Group and Sears, Roebuck and Co.

David Alcaraz has been named vice president and general manager at HRsmart Europe, Middle East and North Africa. He previously served as vice president of product management at Monster Worldwide. Before Monster, Alcaraz worked as director of product strategy at Mr. Ted and founder and CEO at ARISE.

Dan Catlin has been named leader of the U.S. recruitment process outsourcing unit at Futurestep. He previously served as vice president of the Chicago region at Kelly Services. Before joining Kelly Services, Catlin was U.S. central regional vice president at Talent Tree.

Pamela Ryan has been named director of human resources at Arpin Group. She previously served as vice president of HR business organizational development at the CCS Cos.

Linda Amuso has been named president at Radford Surveys & Consulting. She previously served as senior vice president. Prior to joining Radford, Amuso co-founded iQuantic.

Andrew Mandel has been named a principal in the New York office of Buck Consultants. He previously served as executive director of the performance and reward practice at Ernst & Young

Peter Hess has been named a principal in the Pittsburgh office of Buck Consultants. He previously served as senior health and welfare consultant at Aon Consulting.

Scott Bishop has been named senior vice president at Nelson Technology. He previously served as vice president of the northern region. Prior to joining Nelson, Bishop worked as vice president at TAC Worldwide, Northern California area manager at VOLT Technical, and as branch manager at Cotelligent and Oxford and Associates.

Annette Thompson has been named senior vice president and chief learning officer at Farmers Group. She previously served as the company’s vice president of marketing operations, executive director of marketing operations and executive director of Ohio.

John Birmingham  has been named chair of the labor and employment practice at Foley & Lardner. He previously served as a partner in the firm’s Detroit office.

Jim Goetz has been named chief information officer at Convergys. He previously served as chief information officer at ServiceMaster. Before joining ServiceMaster, Goetz worked in the e-business services unit at IBM Global Services.

William Bruce has been named senior vice president of the global labor and employee relations practice at ORC Worldwide. He recently served as counsel at Bond, Schoeneck & King. He previously served as vice president of labor and employee relations at United Technologies Corp.

Ron Hanscome has been named vice president of product strategy at Kenexa. He previously served as vice president of the human capital management technology strategy practice at HRchitect. Before HRchitect, Hanscome was vice president of human capital management applications marketing at Oracle and senior program director at META Group.

Scott Halstead has been named president and CEO of Zane Benefits. He recently served as CEO of WageWorks. Before joining WageWorks, Halstead worked as COO of eBenX.

Ravi Jagannathan has been named vice president of product management at Siperian. He previously served as head of product management at Kickfire.

Charles P. Nelson has been named president of Great-West Retirement Services. He previously served as the company’s senior vice president.

Lester B Knight has been elected non-executive chairman of the board at Aon Corp. He previously served as an independent director on the board. He is founder and managing partner at RoundTable Healthcare Partners. Before RoundTable, Knight served as chairman and CEO of Allegiance Corp.

Brian Clapp has been named Philadelphia market leader and key account manager at Aon Consulting. He recently served as executive vice president of global product management at Right Management.

Yves McGale has been named chief administration officer of the U.S. retirement practice at Aon Consulting. He recently served as worldwide partner of the West Zone retirement practice at Mercer.

Pam Porter has been named executive vice president of global product management at Right Management. She previously served as senior vice president and global leader for service quality, vice president of e-business and as sponsor of the company’s emerging talent and employee engagement programs.

Karen Robilotta has been named vice president of human resources at Pace University. She recently worked as managing director at TD Consulting Group. She previously worked as a human resources consultant at James E. Rocco Associates and as a compensation program manger at GE Capital.

Charlie Dickson has been named chief administrative officer at Kronos. He recently served as chief financial officer of DoubleClick and has served as CFO of Agency.com, United Components, General Instrument Corp. and Winstar Communications.

Jeffrey Summer has been named a principal in the human capital advisory practice at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He recently served as a principal and talent management leader at Deloitte Consulting.

John Davitt has been named a partner in the industrial practice at CTPartners. He recently served as a client partner in the global supply chain practice at Korn/Ferry International.

Bill Thompson has been named managing director of global services at Impact Group. He recently served as vice president in the London office of GMAC Global Relocation Services.

Matthew Rice has been named vice president of product operations at Emportal. He recently served as vice president of emerging products at Risk Management Solutions. Prior to joining Risk Management, Rice worked as senior director of marketing and product management at Audatex (former ADP Claims Services Group).

Douglas Orciani has been named senior vice president of client service delivery at Veritude. He recently served as vice president of operations and implementation services. He previously served as the company’s vice president of talent acquisition.
