After scaling down for a year, our company is gearing up to recruit nearly double the number of staff. There is a great deal of pressure on all of us--supervisors, managers, hourly folks, and human resources--to boost our production rates quickly during a massive revamping. It's becoming dog-eat-dog around here for management, with finger-pointing abounding. Our hourly employees have been working overtime and weekends for months. How can we ease stress levels?
