I know awhile I saw a post addressing employees with BO but I have not been able to locate it. We are a manufacturing company and are currently having a problem with one of the factory workers. Everyone in the Factory perspires (natural for the type of work) but we currently have an employee who for 2 weeks straight has worn the same clothes. The clothes are filthy and he smells really bad. Other workers have begone to complain about him and want something done. What are the legal ramifications of saying something to him? He is also a problem employee so we want to be really careful. Any suggestions will greatly be appreciated.

In my view, the key to this issue is the adoption and enforcement of consistent grooming policies. Some such policies require employees to be appropriately attired, in clean cloths. Adopt the policy, and enforce it.
