Ok I might have a problem, according to several employees and two assistant managers this employess has been made fun of and verbally abused by ou GM regarding his beliefs; mocking him and making statements like "Jesus isn't going to make that call for you" "Jesus isn't going to close that sale" and "Are you going to pray or are you going to sell"... Is it time for me to hire an outside source to represent my company? Because the employee is not happy with just an appology from our GM

Discrimination and/or harassment on the basis of religious belief is illegal, and should be against your company's policies as well. Do you have a policy against harassment? How would you handle this situation if the GM's comments were made on the basis of the employee's race, sex, age or other protected characteristic? Treat this situation just as seriously. If your question is whether you should contact your employment lawyer, we would encourage you to do so.
