JobServe Snares JobShark


Essex, England-based JobServe uses the acquisition to continue its North American expansion.


Jaws & Jobs: JobServe of Essex, England has acquired JobShark Corp., which operates Jobshark.com, a job board. Ottawa-based JobShark is JobServe’s first Canadian acquisition. JobServe is the parent company of CareerBoard.com and Computerwork.com and also runs JobServe USA. JobShark, a 10-year-old company with about 4 million users, uses skills profiling technology—known as Jaws—to match candidates to job vacancies.
