rolling out lucrative products at affordable
prices for companies with workforces of
1,000 to 5,000 people. The shift is a drastic
departure from the time when big-name, high-profile
clients got the VIP treatment and pursuing
small employers was merely corporate rhetoric.
Should You Use Credit Reports
on Applicants and Employees?
RadioShack recently was sued for
the practice, on the premise that
using credit reports for background
checking discriminates against minority
candidates. But employers are legally
allowed to use the reports—provided
they follow some very specific rules
and procedures.
