A reader writes: "Do any companies offer temporary employees benefitsi.e., allow them to contribute to a 401(k)? These would be temporary employees working directly with the employer and not through an agency or staffing company. We have been advised that temporary employees working more than 1,000 hours would be able to contribute to a 401(k)."
