Breast Milk Stored in Company Refrigerator
- posted in the Legal
Forum
A member writes: "There is an employee in our office who is storing breast milk in the company refrigerator (in sealed containers). Another employee approached me and said that breast milk is not supposed to be stored in company refrigerators because it can contain harmful diseases and could pose a risk to others by being in the fridge. Not clear on how unless someone drank it. ... I’ve looked around and have not found any information about this. Does anyone provide separate mini-fridges for lactating mothers?"
